19:30 “First Steps with Pixel Bender“ - a talk by Tiago Dias (Publicis Werbeagentur AG)

If you were lucky enough to attended James Ward’s mind blowing session about “Number crunching with Pixel Bender” at Flash at the Lake 2009, you should have an idea what Pixel Bender is all about. In case you didn’t have a chance to work with this amazing tool, yet, make sure not to miss Tiago’s session, since he’ll show us how to get close and comfortable with Pixel Bender. Don’t worry, he’ll be gentle and leave out the rough stuff: Simple examples and common pitfalls will help you get your feet off the ground so you can start adventuring yourselves.

Ever wanted to use a mobile phone as a remote control of an AIR Application within Interacitve Spaces? Here’s your chance to learn how: In his presentation, Andreas will reveal the prototype of a case study for a commercial AIR application that provides location based services based on Bluetooth, WIFI and RFID. The final application is scheduled for spring 2010.
